Dear Familia,

Blessings to all. It is with great honor that we invite you to our upcoming Sacred Toad Ceremony (view more details about the sacraments here).

The toad ceremony is a sacred communion with the spiritual medicine and spirit of the Sonoran Desert Toad. Each experience is highly individualized and depends on many factors, however many people describe some of the following descriptions of what they have experienced, including:

● A massive release of accumulated stress (conscious or unconscious) 

● Dissolution of unconscious cellular memories that provoke addictions, compulsions, psychosomatic illnesses, and sufferings 

● Partial or total disconnection of physical and/or visual reality 

● The fusion of the participants with what surrounds them

● The sense of having no body or floating  

● The feeling of being launched at high speed 

● To witness places full of lights and colors like a kaleidoscope, three-dimensional figures floating and moving in all directions 

● Feeling that the body explodes into millions of particles 

Benefits: After consuming the sacrament the participant may experience feelings of a deep release of their emotional traumatic loads (stress). These sensations are the most important since the process of purification and release of stress will continue for several hours and sometimes up to several days. The participant may find that their ego was fractured, reduced or minimized, allowing in this way to appreciate and value daily things with more intensity, such as plants, colors, flavors, smells, nature and the people around them. On the other hand, depending on the degree of physical, mental and emotional intoxication of the participant, the participant may expel accumulated toxins which have been stored in the body for years. This sacrament activates the pineal gland, stimulating the proper functioning of the body's immune system, allowing physical, mental or emotional suffering to self-correct or heal. It should be clarified that there is no record to date that the consumption of this sacrament produces harmful side effects to the body, or consequences directly or indirectly associated with physical-mental health. It has also been scientifically proven that the consumption of this sacrament does not cause any type of addiction, quite the opposite since it usually assists in breaking addictions.

Registration:

In order to reserve your spot and receive the potent magic of this medicine, please click “Register” and then select the appropriate sliding scale option. There is a $100 deposit required, this deposit is non-refundable. You will then receive a confirmation email with instructions for how to complete your registration. We will require a confidential health history and intake call with our team to discuss your current physical and mental circumstances. You will also receive instructions for paying the balance of your pledge.

About our Sliding Scale Program:

In order to offer access to all who are called to this experience, we use a sliding scale system for the exchange. We trust you to evaluate your economic situation and determine the most equitable exchange for your circumstances. Some guidelines to consider when choosing your exchange:

• Higher exchange (Supporter) covers all costs, direct and operational, allows for further investment in the church, and subsidizes those without the discretionary income to afford standard tickets. If discretionary spending is abundant, you may consider offering a higher exchange.
• The mid-range (Standard) reflects the true cost of the ceremony. Those with discretionary income generally fall in this range.
• The lower price point (Subsidized) helps cover the cost of the ceremony, but not all expenses. Those with limited discretionary spending may fall in this range.

When the lower tier is an obstacle to attending a ceremony, we will work with folks to offer extended payment plans, work exchange, lower ticket prices, and other solutions. Lead Facilitator:

Maya Martinez, founder of Somos Sanctuary, was raised in both Colombia and New York City, and has been on a life-long journey studying with indigenous teachers from Colombia, Mexico, the United States, and Brazil, where she was given the name Sakakatwa ‘Rainbow,’ by her family of the Fulniô Tribe. As a dedicated student, she continuously deepens her studies with the sacraments, and has learned many traditional ceremonial practices that help raise the vibration of the planet. It is with great honor, permission, and care, that she shares the weavings of this knowledge with those who are ready to answer the call and receive the wisdom and downloads that come.

We reserve spaces in our circle for queer BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and offer scholarship to ensure access.

It should be noted the burning of dried herbs at different moments throughout the ceremony is expected.
