"Calling on The Goddesses and Gods" SomoS Nov 30th-1st Ceremony

We are delighted to invite you to our November ceremony in Brooklyn, NY, on the 30th - December 1st, 2024.    

Location: Brooklyn, NY (Exact address will be provided near event date)

Tentative Schedule: November 30th 

• 4:30pm-5:30pm Check In, Opening Circle, Introduction, Q&A 

• 6:00pm-2:00am Somos Ceremony - November 30th

• 11:00am-3:00pm Toad Activation - December 1st

Access & Inclusion:

We are committed to making this work safe and accessible to all people that are called to join, and to maintaining a community culture safe from racism, sexism, homophobia, and transphobia.

We reserve spaces in our circle for queer BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and offer scholarship to ensure access.

Currently, the space we work in has a flight of stairs to gain entrance and no elevator. It should be noted the burning of dried herbs at different moments throughout the ceremony is expected.  Please share with us any access needs you have that would enable you to join us, and we will do anything we can to meet these needs!

Accommodations: Staying overnight in the ceremony space is welcomed. Some snacks and an evening meal will be provided. Please consider bringing healthy snacks to share.    

Suggested Exchange & Sliding Scale:  One night Samadhi $275/$375/$475+ Toad Activation $222 for Saturday participants $275-$1111+ sliding scale for those coming for Sunday only.

Only 1 ticket is necessary for registration. Additional information including finalizing payment is provided in the confirmation email.

In order to sustainably facilitate access to as many people as possible despite possible economic challenges, we are using a sliding scale system for suggested exchanges. We trust you to evaluate your economic situation, the value of what you will be receiving, and determine the most equitable exchange for your circumstances. Some guidelines to consider in choosing your exchange:    

·   Higher exchange (475+) covers all costs, direct and operational, allows for further investment in the church, and subsidizes those without the discretionary income to afford standard tickets. If retreat costs are rarely a concern and discretionary spending is abundant, you may consider offering a higher exchange. 

·  The middle way (375) covers the costs of the retreat and larger organizational operations. Those with discretionary income generally fall in this range. 

·   The lower cost (275) covers the costs of the retreat, but not all larger organizational operations. Those with limited discretionary spending will fall in this range.

When the lower tier is an obstacle to attending ceremony, we will work with folks to offer extended payment plans, lower ticket prices, and other solutions. If you need additional assistance please reach out to

Registration:

In order to reserve your spot, please select the ceremonies you will participate in. You will then receive a confirmation email with instructions for how to complete your registration. 

About the Sacraments & Ceremonies

Somos Sanctuary offers a flexible refund policy that balances participant needs with the sanctuary’s costs. Cancellations made are non-refundable but transferable except for 50% registration fee. Extenuating circumstances may allow for special consideration. Refund requests must be made in writing and will be processed within 7 business days.
