Welcome to our Rainbow Tribe!

Somos Sanctuary is a living altar stewarded by Maya Martínez and Willa Kveta in loving partnership and shared devotion. Alongside a team of Mothers and Guardians of the Altar, we hold a ceremonial container rooted in the teachings of Mother Earth, Music as Medicine, Humility, Reciprocity, and Magic. Our altar is held by the prayers, guidance, and blessings of our council of elders and teachers, whose living wisdom, permissions, and ongoing support help guide our work with integrity. Our mission is in devotion to creating spaces for remembrance, transmutation, and transformation in right-relationship with the ancestral traditions and living lineages we study.

Music as Medicine

We offer our music as a prayer with love to you and to the world. It is here to support your journey before, during, and beyond ceremony. Our ceremonies are woven together through live music and instrumentation, and many of the songs shared in those spaces are found within our albums. For those preparing to enter ceremony, listening beforehand and learning the prayers can deepen your connection to the medicine. Singing with the collective field of voices creates an opening for the heart, allowing the medicine to move in profound and unexpected ways, if you feel called.

After ceremony, these songs become a place to return - a sanctuary of sound that helps reconnect you with the prayers, insights, and essence of your experience. They offer gentle support for integration, allowing the wisdom of the ceremony to continue unfolding and remain alive within your daily life.

✨We will begin our time together by building our communal altar - each person bringing their prayers, intentions, and care into the space. From this shared field of connection, we will prepare for our first SomoS Ceremony on Friday evening. ✨Saturday offers spaciousness for connection with the land, rest, reflection, and integration, before we enter our second SomoS Ceremony of the weekend.✨On Sunday morning, we will gather for our final Toad Activation Ceremony, followed by a powerful closing blessing, honoring what has moved, opened, and been remembered.

Throughout the weekend, we ask for your commitment to collective stewardship of our community field as we cultivate a culture of shared responsibility and care. We ask for your support with light volunteer assistance around meals and cleanup, and a minimal grocery sign-up list to support.

Accommodations

• Sleep in the communal ceremonial space

• Bring a small personal tent for camping

Sliding Scale Exchange (base price is: $370 per ceremony)

$1,111+ – $1,800+ – $2,600+

In alignment with accessibility, we offer a sliding scale exchange and ask you to choose your reciprical exchange with honesty and discernment honoring both where you are at financially, and the work we do together.

$2,600+ – For those with economic privilege; your contribution supports the full value of this work and helps make these ceremonies accessible

$1,800+ – Covers the true cost of hosting the retreat

$1,111+ – For those needing financial support; your presence is valued

  Extended payment plans, work exchange, and additional partical scholarship options may be available. Please reach out to discuss your situation.

• Somos Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3). All contributions are tax-deductible.

Registration

To reserve your space, click “Register.” A non-refundable $222 deposit is required. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with next steps, including required forms, a confidential health history, and an intake call with our team (if this is your first time sitting with us).

This is a co-ed ceremonial container. We are committed to maintaining a community culture free from racism, sexism, homophobia, and transphobia.

Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable but may be applied toward a future ceremony within one year (minus the deposit). If life brings unexpected circumstances, please contact us.
